Bike shop · Amsterdam-Zuid

The neighbourhood shop since 2005, now just as good online

De Fietstuin has been the bike shop of Amsterdam-Zuid since 2005 — but the old website showed none of it. We rebuilt it from scratch around their three core services: repairs, bike sales and secure storage.

1

The challenge

The old site was outdated, slow and barely explained what the shop does. Customers searching for 'bike repair Amsterdam-Zuid' or 'bike storage' ended up at chains and platforms — not at the shop around the corner.

At the same time, the site had to radiate the warm, personal feel of a real neighbourhood shop. No slick corporate look, but recognisable and trustworthy.

2

The approach

We rebuilt the site entirely around the three services, each with its own page, clear price indications and FAQs. Photography of the shop and workshop took centre stage.

Technically we laid the full SEO foundation: fast load times, local search terms per service and structured data, so Google knows exactly what De Fietstuin does and where.

The result

The rebuild went live in under two weeks. Customers now find the shop easily for repairs and storage, and the site finally feels like the shop itself: personal and skilled.
